Look on the bright side......

..........every day you don't work, your tax bill goes down.

..........it will put off any 'part time' shiners.

..........it gives you an opportunity to reschedule your round.

Anymore......

you see how badly you miss work

you see what you take for granted

you can dream about the good times

you see how boring tv really is

you get motivated to work even harder once you can get out

Can we all say a prayer?

God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.
 ;D

I'm off to get a haircut with Wor Little Un, the library (it costs nothing apart from the fine on my overdue library books) and some food shopping.

Enjoy your time off, worrying about bills isn't going to change anything.

I'm 'lucky', Wor Lass (I reckon) suffers with an obsessive compulsive disorder when it comes to cleaning.  I haven't touched the hoover in about five years and the house is always immaculate, clothes washed, ironed, put away; just like magic.

Its a pain when she's polishing the sink at 11.00 pm, but you've got to take the rough with the smooth I guess.

Sunshine, me too, but I never do.  I always get a fine.

Is Wor Lass still running? I've just taken it up in place of cycling. If I can run in this weather i can run in any.

Read a good book on holiday, Feet in the Clouds by Richard Askwith best book i've read in ages.

She's still running even though she's got a cold.  I'm sure she suffers with an obsessive compulsive disorder.  She also does fell running, with reference to the book; she ran the Gower coastal marathon a few weeks back, though that was 28 miles (due to some forced route change) up and down some very big hills, rough terrain, sand, mud, stony ground; she's a nutter.  Fell running isn't her favourite thing though due to the high-risk of injury (twisted ankles and stuff).  It's the elite of running though.

Anyway, while waiting for her to finish, I just found a burger van and sat on my arse reading books and eating hot dogs.

Oh, and I hear riding bikes isn't good for your 'family jewels'!

Fell runners are 'propper nutters'!!

As for the 'family jewels' I have 3 kids and dont want any more. I even sit with the laptop on my knee. Radiation doesn't scare me.

Tell Wor Lass you know a ex fat boy who is proud of his 9 min mile record. It will make her laugh. Hoping to get it down to 8 mins in spring.

Cycling has been good for my figure mind, see this: http://sunshine-cleaning.net/video.aspx
Trying to keep running to loose a bit more.

How do you think we`ll look back at this spell in years to come? That is if we are still in business, not starved to death or topped ourselves  ;D ( it has been mentioned).
 We`ll forget what the fuss was about and look back fondly.  Remembering at least 3 weeks off work over Christmas when you`re mad busy. Telling newbies you were around for The Great Cold Snap of 2009- 2012 and they don`t know they`re born.

That is correct but if I did listen to this in one way when I die my family would be homeless of living off the state , and this is one thing I will not let happen, Money pays the bills Matt, this is what I meant, I am with you on the Family time, but at the same time there life skint will be a long time after your dead or me if you get my point on that.

Ian
p.s I am glad you said my name 3 times
