And you do not have to dismantle any suspension arms? Or does that depend on the car in question?Any idea where I could buy the springs?
Just when it started to get cold I had my van in the garage, and mentioning the weather to the owner he said he'd be really busy if it got freezing because of all the springs breaking, something I wasn't aware of before, but it seems the freezing weather does make the metal more brittle. He told me to take it really easy till the springs have worked a bit and the metal is more plyable.
i take it that is someone doing it all for you?
Replaced the front springs on my vito 2 days ago. Offside spring broke, I am wondering if the cold weather is making them brittle as i also replaced the springs on my caddy the day before lol same spring too The caddy springs were only £78 and the vito's were £89 so not too bad really.
