Anyone using social media ( twitter, facebook,...) as part of your marketing and has it got a good ROI?

Thanks for the feedback

Hi Gavin

Would you mind sharing how you promote your Facebook group and recruit new members?

Thanks a lot

I'm guessing your question was prompted by this article in the ICS mag....

www.icsmag.com/Articles/Article_Rotation/BNP_GUID_9-5-2006_A_10000000000000719622

my opinion is that unless you enjoy and actively engage in social media then its not worth it, but if you are always on facebook, MSN Twitter..etc.. then you might as well put it too good use.

but to start on these site with the sole intention of finding business will be a poor use of time.

I thought it might be hard work but what isnt these days.

So an interesting post on my part so sort of kicked me into the mode to go for it.

I was going to register up for one of these.

I did register for the BT Tradespace which going by the daily e-mail I get from BTT is much the same but I just can't find the time/interest to get involved in another chat site/forum.
Anyone else on BTT? Is it worth the time spent on it?
