Why has it to be a Vito, Neil. A Sprinter would be a much better buy if you are buying a Mercedes.

where you going with your business Neil?

The Vito is NOT such a big van, bit like the VW Transporter which is a great vehicle but size wise its a bit "average", whatever that may be, thats why I ask where you going.

I have seen some not so good looking Vitos as well, only a few years old as well.

ps added the NOT well after I posted. It reads right now.

Either new or Demo low miler u see!Well have a Trafic now and think the Vito is abt the same size?

The sprinter is a little too big I think as I often need to park on v narrow streets - but will have a look at a SWB Sprinter.

Anyone else any exp wth a sprinter?

Cheers

Neil :)

Corny but true.

Every time I see a Sprinter it is 'flying' down the motorway, I wonder if they are all courier white van man or its just that the vans go like stink!

You never see one standing still thats for sure.

Like Joe, I've seen some Vitos with early stages of "brown mould". Saw one last week, brown sills on both sides.

If you want to be TM'd at any stage, I think they only carry about 0.9 tonnes, even the lwb versions. Sprinters don't carry much weight either for their size.

If you can get used to the parking brake, they're a good drive, especially the larger engines. They look classy too.

Safe and happy cleaning :)

Mercedes vans body wise are not the best.  You always see them about with rust spots evn when just 3 or 4 yrs old.  Peugot/Citreon/Fiat seem ok but DONT go for the small engine as they dont have any GO in them.  Vauxhall/Renault are good looking vans but have heard many bad things about the Traffic been bad vans.  Transits are good all round vans.
