I have noticed water dripping out of the exhaust of my Ninja? I find this only realy happens when its full and the internal float is sucked up or when im doing anything that might cause high foam in the waste tank.

Any suggestions what might be up with it? Or what to do to fix the prob?

Warning! Keep an eye out and don't let your waste tank over fill, Check your waste tank level after every "Room" and for goodness sake, make sure you use anti foaming agent "EVERY TIME!", run your motors dry for a couple of minutes at the end of each job and keep the lid of you waste tank open all the time to avoid sweating.... Water and motor's don't mix dude... I know from expensive experience!!!!

Never let your machine get to full.  As stated empty after every room.  NEVER rely on the cut off float and watch out for foam.  The warranty on vac motors will be void if you have had water or foam through them.

You'll be amazed how far a Ninja can propel the water and s*it, if your in the house
it will make an awful mess, maybe up curtains or suite!

I am yet to find a cut out that works consistantly on any portable.  They will not activate if there is foam in the tank so normally it is this that ends up going through the vac motors.  Probably the WORST cut off i have ever seen on any portable is the ones on the Scorpion sold by solutions.  Complete waste of time.  The Ninja that i have used in the past was ok but again if any foam in the waste tank then you can be sure that will go through the vacs.

On the Ninja it's a table tennis ball and works fine.
How often do you get foam in your tank?
Must be months since mine foamed up.
Does adding fabric restorer to the waste tank stop foaming?

If you add Fabric Restor to your tank it will be even worse as that chemical has quite alot of foam to it.  Do you mean Fibre n Fabbric rinse?  In the paast i have found that by adding a bar of soap to the waste tank this will aid in the defoaming of the tank.

Can't say I've ever been guilty of that :

Best defoamer I've used was from Extracta...... Lasted ages.... The prochem one seems like a watered down version

I would recomend you but your defoamer in a bucket with some water, mix up, then sucjk the defoamer up thro the hoses you going to use.
That way the inside of the hoses get coated. Thats where a lot of turbulance is and foam is likely to be "made".

It was Fabric conditioner John The type used in washing machines. Dont use fabric restorer it will cost you a fortune and there will be bubbles everywhere.

I've never ever had a problem with the float valve on any of my ninjas over the years

They always cut off when the tank gets full and I've never had liquid through the motors .  Sod walking back and forth to the machine every 5 minutes thats for paranoid people!

The only one time I decorated someone's walls was when I had made a cock-up and not replaced the float valve correctly :

You don't have to walk back every 5 minutes indefinately because in time, you'll be able to judge how full your tank will be... Maybe Jim works in mansions and can't be bothered with the walk

Being paranoid is better than being too cock sure, the latter could see you damage your machine and loose lots of work....

Agree with Jim, never had a problem with float valve on the Ninja.

Having said that, it probably only cuts out once or twice a week as I periodically check the water level in the solution tank during jobs.

The tanks on the Scorpion are translucent so you can see, especially with the dirty tank, at what level the water is quiet easy.

Cheers for that Mark that's actually what I meant but for some reason
the second time I replied I put restorer instead.
Hear your snowed in on the tops.
Not too much problems here in the lower regions, got 4 jobs done today.
Only bug bear is taking off footwear all time so snow doesn't get all over the place.
