I have both slx 17 and the hydra alloy it is a must for empolyees no need to worry about wear and tear with hydra.

But how do they compare in use Jason, is there a big difference, is one better than the other etc.?

out of intrest how easy would it be to saw down sections on hydra.

what do you do to take apart and re-assemble.

The slx is lighter and more rigid but the hydra is cheaper and more hard wearing. with the slx i have to wipe the pole hose almost every time it is extended to stop any grit .After a while this can become a pain .
