Texatherm EMV
« on: December 11, 2009, 10:23:56 am »
I am wondering how many people out there have this machine?
How do you find the customer service from them?

How do you find it compared to a ninja?

I am looking for a new portable and interested in your reviews on what machine you like.

Hi jamie

Well i sold my heater tank a year or so on here as i just now use pads and a victor buffer and some buffing solution..

I had dry fusion before the texatherm as well.

I didnt like the heater tank and all the wringing out of the pads myself so just used the pads and solution without heat.

Thik joe hatton also had  the system as well.I do a fair bit of commercial office space and it works great for me with the buffer and pads. There is a new solution called fusion clean out made spec for l m cleaning and works great..

Clinton,

I don't have a rotary but would like to get one at some point.  Can you explain how you go about using your pad system please?

Clinton do you think you get the same results with a normal rotary and pads as with either the dry fusion or texatherm system? What is your prefered method and solution for commercial carpet tiles?

Iv been getting good results using rotobrite with chemspec energiser added. I spray dirty and walkway areas quite heavy and go over first with a scrub bonnet then lightly spray with the solution again and bonnet over with a normal bonnet.

Thanks Andy

Going for a beer and curry now as its friday! ;D

Andrew and martin

I just use fusion clean with my pads i got with the texatherm system at the moment and i find that to be as good as the other systems on the market.

The fusion clean i find gives a nice odour as well so it gets comments..

Have also used prochem bonnet buff and had good results from that too.

Must say i get as good results from the pads and fusion clean but thats just my opinion.

I know some still use the texatherm and dry fusion and get great results..

I always still give a good vac to remove dry soiling and then give a good spray and start bonneting and if here is a bad walkway i will go over it again..

If you want any help its no problem if you want a chat.

cheers

I've had the Tex rotary system for several years but about 2 years ago did away with the boiler unit after it packed up too many times.
I now use it with various micro splitters pre sprayed and rinsed off with the pads soaked in 'tap' hot water. I've even used it with conventional chemicals and still got the desired results.
But basically what I'm left with is just a rotary and cotton pads. I do have some charlie pads but they are seriously a total waste of time unless doing large commercials where all you are aiming to do is even out the dirt levels.

I dont work for tcs and I have been using the tex system for years and get great results.  All Magic Dry francises use the system now as it gets the best results.  I do have the EMV machine and find it very good.  It was bought for mainly doing tiles does a great job.  On carpets does a really good jobwhen used as just extraction but done as a combo clean the results are amazing.  I do a lot of end of rental work and use the combo clean best results agents are just amazed.  I am now their only carpet cleaner due to this process.

I would recommend it and do get a demo you will be glad you did and you have nothing to lose.  Hope this helps.

Just to comment on the Texatherm Emv,
I purchased my texatherm system nearly four years ago, i was the typical new carpet cleaner, using ninja extraction with prochem double clean.
Tcs helped me beyond belief and has turned my cleaning business around, with their knowledge and expertise i was able to get drying times of 30-1 hr!!!!
Last year added the emv machine which has improved my clean no end, i had sometimes cleaned using extraction & texatherm to get perfect results but as you can imagine long set up times, but now i only have to get the rotary, vac, & emv out of the van and use them as a combination clean. Fantastic results!!!!!
As for customer service, i cant fault them, Mark is very knowledge able and as i said has turned my business around, i had recently won a contract in a very exclusive hotel, i was up against four other companies, one using truckmounts, and three using extraction.
The hotel said price is obviously an issue but quality & quick drying is paramout i feel i suceeded with all.
Kind Regards

Craig

To set matters straight, I DONT work for TCS.

I have my own business Advantex, which I have run for the last 12 years. Due to the size of TCS I have agreed to go and do demonstrations and training whenever they are busy and I have some time available. This I have done because it is "more interesting" to me than cleaning all the time.

I first met Mark 10 years ago when I purchased a Texatherm System. At this stage I was struggling to find a unique selling point, or a way of breaking into the marketplace and being different from the rest of my competition. Within 2 years my business doubled. This was due to discussions with Mark on how the sytem worked, how best to market etc.

Just like Craig has mentioned, Mark gave me the time and training to enable me to do this. As for customer service. Wheras most Companies have followed the pack, Mark has chosen to "swim against the stream" and produce both chemicals and equipment that produce the right result! I would be amazed to find anyone who had received bad service.

P.s. My EMV is17 months old with all original equipment. It has never broken down on me!

Regards

Gary
