I have a customer with sissal in her dining room, and the dog has had a pee in several places. The colour has been remove from the sisal leaving lighter areas. Actually not sure if it was the dog urine or something from under the kitchen sink that removed the colour.

Does anyone know of a way to dye sisal?

I have walked away, but my old mans the gardener at this place. So I will be returning to carry out other jobs.
Have recently cleaned rugs, carpets and suites, but wet extraction of spots failed to do anything.
Told the client that I would post on an excellent website to see if I can get any further information about dyeing the sisal.
Would be nice to tell the client why it can not be done, any ideas, or has this site lost all the 'guys in the know'.

rule of thumb is you can only dye nylon and or wool..... at least on site... hope this helps
