in the van we had
30ft gangster pole
24ft xtel
18ft xtel
harris pole
 bit crowded in there....would love to carry 2 slx 27ft,ers?
BUT HOW ARE THE CLAMPS DOING just before i invest?

Yes your right it is lovely carrying 2 x slx in the van,
my clamps are doing fine, none of the new ones have snapped

My new clamps are fine as well.  My poles over a year and a half and still going strong.

Clamps are fine now.

I think the wear looks bad at first because it loses the sheen, then you start to get black hands if you don't wear gloves.

My wear on my 25' is mainly on the first two sections but I'm sure they've got loads of life left in them yet.

Worst case I think is one day I'll have to replace a few sections.
