Expenses help.
« on: December 04, 2009, 08:50:18 pm »
To be honest I have never been very good at keeping books. I know its not hard, And I do do it obviously, but somethings I think there ay be a better way etc.

This is now the case as after all the Wcp threads I have just started using the trial and will use full time and purchase the license.

Now my questions are with regards to expenses. I use my work van for more pesonal milage than work, Its better for me to go with the 40p per mile flat rate.

How would I be best off entering expenses for fuel into Wcp. I was thinking at the end of each day, just put a fuel expense in of say £4.00 if I have done 10 miles instead of putting the whole petrol purchase price.

This will be ok come tax time wont it, (as in having my books like this).

And also does anyone know if I have just started using Wcp I can put in my older invoices/expenses pre Wcp, to have one document all together and not half paper half Wcp.

Thanks in advance again guys.
