pump flow rate dropped

measured the flow rate of my pump and it was 4ltrs a min when it should be 6.8 changed pressure switch fully charged battery tried two different flow conrollers noticed it had dropped when cleaning about a month ago anyone know what the reason might be (diaghram maybe?)
or has it just come to the end of its life just under 3yrs old
