neck pain
« on: December 02, 2009, 09:16:30 am »
i woke up this morning, went to make a cup of coffee, and i felt a sharp pain in my neck, the pain is between my neck and left shoulder blade, i cant even move it, only in certain positions, the thing is, when i went to bed last night, i was fine? it must have been the position i slept last night, or i need a new mattress, its like a trapped nerve or something locked,so no work for me today, i don't want to cause anymore damage, hopefully it gets better for tomorrow  :'(

That sounds like what happened to my Father; he had a sharp pain in his neck and thought it was a trapped nerve.

It turned out to be a malignant cancerous tumour pressing against the nerve.  He was dead two weeks after diagnosis.

Indeed, bad neck pain could be caused by hanging until you are dead.

That hurts more than insensitivity.

I get something like this now and again, osteopath thinks its a trapped muscle not a nerve, I'm off to see her tomorrow.
