Hi Lee,
The solvent based Promite is very penetrative and only needs a fine misting, I have in the past over applied it resulting in severe rippling. This does flatten out after a couple of days. I have also noticed that when I have gone back to clean carpets that I have previously treated with Promite, the water does bead up very well.

Found it to be very good, and almost half the price of protectors twice its price.

Not effective on all carpets though- best on wool

Hi,
I did a job for a friend of my mums. She looks after dogs when people are away. Her 15 year old grandson had terrible asthmatic symptoms: sneezing wheezing etc etc, when he visited her. I cleaned her whole house and furniture, and the next time her grandson came over to visit he didnt get any of his usual symptoms.

She told me this even though I handnt told her that the pre spray I used had promite in it. It proves it works, but I believe that any pre spray and stream extraction helps with allergic symptoms.

I have never used Promite as I am always doubtful of cure or relief claims .

I have tried many allergy products from doctors with no success.

Promite uses to be  reccomended by some Allergy Foundation is this still the case.

Does it kill other bugs such as fleas.

Do you need the pre spray and the protector.

How long is it effective

Hi Guys

AllergSTOP eliminates all allergens, it does not contain any insecticide

Pro mite only deals with Dust mite and its faeces, There are no simalarities between the two products

Best regards Nick

Just followed a Link from the Allergy Show.

It appears That Promite no longer has the British Allergy Foundation Seal of Aproval.

Of course I could be wrong.

Hi All

Promite has not had the seal of aproval for about a year now I think.
I think it was not worth the thousands of pounds a year it cost to have it!

Hi Guys,

I think I remember Nick saying that this costs 10 grand per year.

Makes the NCCA seem cheap ;)

Cheers,
