how hard does it need to rain before packing up? i don't mind doing when it is not to hard but some customers moan that they don't need doing and therefore turn me away.  any ideas??

try and clean the windows of the custys that are not in if poss!if ur round is v.compact!i work in the rain if its just the odd shower here and there and drizzle but if its prolonged heavy rain i pack up and go home usually after an hour or so!just got to get on with it!or no money!if its strong winds and heavy rain on and off and dont bother!

Its Alright people saying that they clean in the rain but i personally dont. In fact one day i was heading home during the rain and i noticed window cleaners just finishing a commercial job. I later canvassed it and asked if they were alright about having windows cleaned in the rain.They said that they werent so i picked up the contract!!!!Now if its raining i use my time wisely going around looking for others!!!

That's a great idea, now you can't clean domestics OR commercial when it's raining. Better hope it doesn't rain when you need to earn. Also, as a bonus, you can convert every com job you get, to not wanting them cleaned whilst it's raining. If I were you, I wouldn't let any other WC's in your area know what you are doing.

Nothing wrong with cleaning in the rain its a bit like saying ladders are banned, know the facts and all will be fine......most make up stuff to make themselves feel better for not getting wet lol more fool them ok if you have a very small round and no staff.

But each to their own means more work for me  ,
