Water rates?

Have you told your local water board that you produce pure water at home?

Is there a benefit telling them if you are on a meter then ? mines up to about £110 a month now  :(

might be worth a try, commercial rates tend to be bheaper with most things.

Oops, wifey phoned up the water board today and told them about my water system  :o
Looks like I'll be stitched. Haven't found the details yet but provided I recycle the water I should have an allowance on the sewerage rates.......... she thinks.

yes you get a little off the bill as some of it doesnt go back down the drain

the downside to it is, your on the computer now, so when we get a hosepipe ban, they will be parked outside your house measuring what water your using all the time and you will have a nice little fine to pay
