Hi guy's, well took on my first member of staff just a couple of weeks ago,she was actually recommended to my hubby by some friends of his,so i thought ok she sounds perfect just what i need. I went to see her in her home which wasn't exactly very clean to say the least but she looked respectable,so i thought ok don't judge her on how she lives we all live differently so decided to take her on. Now it's only 3hrs30 a week at the moment she has another job (also cleaning) Anyway she's working along side me but for two occasions now she hasn't worn her polo shirt which i provided saying she hasn't had time to wash it,now she works 2hrs on a sunday and 1hr 30 on a tuesday so i don't know what she's playing at. The 2hr contract is a once a week clean which i was hoping to pass onto her for her to do herself,but the people there called after last weekends clean to say they weren't too happy with certain areas, i had a word with her today but she wasnt too bothered and again left the same things i'd just pointed out to her, it's not a hard job at all infact it's a doddle.
Any advice would be appreciated i know it's nothing major at the minute with her but if she turns up on tuesday without her poloshirt on am i within my rights to refuse to take her on the job with me? I have given her a contract which states she's on a trial period..Thanks for any advice..Pauline
