Not nice up here in the real North of England, just light showers at the moment but I think we've got the heavy stuff on it's way from the west

It's wet here in the Scottish Borders, with it to get even heavier inthe next hour or two.

Out canvasing this afternoon, filling sandbags this morning if the river which I live beside gets much higher   :o

drove through to bathgate this morning and had to turn back. i am not back at mums but heading out soon to do some shops and then some gutter work and weeding at a yard we factor for

its blowing a gale here in manchester now!im all ready to go out the door!dont know whether to risk it on the ladders in this!im getting soft in my old age![38].i used to work in this in my twenties!forecast even worse for the afternoon!sick of this crap weather now :'(

glasgow is stuffed today....gales and heavy rain....i aint going out in that, you must be kidding....i am off to watch holmes under the hammer.....i never liked that eamonn since his gmtv days. 8) wonder if its a real hammer they use or one of these timmy mallet ones ;D

I'm in Hawick about 12 miles away.

Well were on severe flood alert, barier at front door with sandbags, hoping I've wasted my time but not taking any chance. Parents live close by so I'm helping them get the flood gates up as well, sorted out a couple of elderly neighbours as well as picking up a pallet of sandbags from the council yard, busy morning so far.

Just got home. Never earnt so much in one day. Must be at least £400 in 4 hours  ;D Everything ok up there?  ;D  ;D  ;D
