After the storm
« on: November 16, 2009, 04:05:49 pm »
Just got back in and several customers of mine had the filthiest windows I've ever seen. Particularly properties very close to birch trees. There would be no way I could clean them on a wet and breezy day and offer a rain guarantee.
Must be terrible if you clean on the sea front?

After the storm of 1987 all my work was covered in salt.  Even though I live on the North Kent coast, and the wind came all the way over the land from the Channel.

Cleaning up after that lot was horrendous >:(

The salt deposits mixed with whatever else the wind picked up was like a thick greasy film.

Took me two months to clean up a months worth of work

The windows on the Holyhead lidl on Anglesey actually get dirty again as you are cleaning them in bad weather :o :o :o

No need to insult me is there.

I DID NOT TELL THE FULL STORY , BUT AS PILLOCKS GO I CANNOT BE BOTHERED TO NOW. When it rains next and your sat looking out of the window, remember this so called pillock and his staff will be earning him money, maybe a clever business minded pillock who knows  ;)
