ok heres what i do.

first we would offer the customer a gutter health check - basically you would go around the house and check all the gutters and down pipes then advise them on what parts of the gutter do or dont need to be emptied - then price accordingly.

gutter health check - £5 - £10. depending on time spent.

would norm say around £50+ to clean out the gutters if the whole house needed doing - with taking into account access and time.

if only parts need doing then charge say £10 per so many metres.

to wipe them over - again access and time considered.

when I have done the guttering on the outside for customers I have charged them starting from £50.00 upwards just for one side of a property if they have it on all four sides then I charge £200.00 also depends on the access requirements.

For inside the guttering it can depend on how bad the mess is inside them, but again it depends on what you want to charge and how much time you are willing to put in.

My best price I have ever picked up just for external cleaning of gutter, fascias, and soffits was £295.00.

Hope this helps a little.

Kind regards. :)

Martin you are missing out on a heck of a lot of money mate.
I charge £5 per metre and I am starting to think that is cheap for around here.

i dont think you guys understood what i was saying.

i charge £5 to £10 just to have a look at back and front. takes about 2 mins!

then i would charge per section that needs to be emptied. so it would norm work out min of £50 to empty gutter.

then i would charge another min £50 to wipe it.

then another £30 - £40 min to clean sofit

so thats a min of £135. based on say a small  2 bed house.

so your average 4 bed would prob be around £250 min.
