cleanthrough

New van

Hello


We are lookinh into buying a new van
We will be using for the following

Window cleaning with ladders so not to high.
Expanding one day to a wfp and wanting a van mount with 500 litre tank.
Taking it out for camping trips and sleeping 2 in the rear.
Budget £15.000

I'm in the same boat as you I've got an escort van at the mo as i'm only using ladders, but when I get my WFP I want it to be van mounted so I'll need a transit or vivaro etc You can buy side ladders for your hi top van for easy access to your roof just incase you need your ladders. They only cost about 60 quid bargain.

Long wheel base tranny ,get my ladders in side as well as 1000 litre tank + 250 litre tank+all the Gizmoes

Hello

I am really not sure what you are talking about.
All I said was ladders inside, good idea

I was just not aware that such a long item could slip neatly into the rear of a van.
I suppose as long as I dont have a big one going inside I should be safe.
I wouldn`t like to have any sticking out of the end as I believe it might slip out or maybe the end could stick into somones eye.
Is there a law that says you should have somthing bright or red tied onto it?

JOHN:21 FT fully extended,11 ft closed,fasten them by strap to my 1000 litre caged tank,sticks over the passenger seat about 9 inches bit tough on the passenger but plenty of head room.

I've got a LT35 LWB

It carries a 650 lt water tank

12 25 lt water containers

1 trolley

1 Sacktruck with 120 lt water container

1 garden trolley (carries 8 25 lt containers save going back to the van all the time)

1 Backpack

2 Hose reels

8 poles

1 Carpet cleaner (prochem Powermax)

1 Bonnet Buffer (Sprite 400)

ToolBox

Enough chemicals to get Mr Bush Worried ;D

Don't have ladders (scared of heights) but have room for them if I wanted

I just bought a VW transporter 1998 and it seems a good size both for weaving through suburbia and showing a bit of muscle in the commercial  world - fancied the Hiace but they were too much money :)
