Which Ladder
« on: November 01, 2009, 09:55:58 am »
Hi Guys,

I'm new and just starting out - just a quick question....

which ladders would you recommend from midland ladders, because in the Aluminium ladder section there is three options.

1. DIY Aluminium Ladders
2. Trade & Industrial Ladders
3. Class 1 Industrial Ladders

which do i need?

i go for diy ones everytime, for lightness .    nothing worse than a heavy ladder on the streets , if i was you before buying a ladder get along into b and q and just lift one up  on your shoulder  see if the weights okay

like stan said .dont buy them flimsy bone shakers .get a good set like the titan .3.5 also when u buy them buy a set of rubber feet .( same as the ones on ladder change them when they wear down ) or what i used to do was take out small screw holding rubber in . get drill n drill straight through n put a nut n bolt through .rubber then wont push up into ladder .( mind u im 15 stone so was quite a bit of weight on ladder )
