rinsing and cleaning

wen cleaning windows with the wfp why do you have to have a steady stream of water would it not b better 2 just just wet the window up first and give it a good scrub and then rinse it after i use to carry 650 ltr of water and still came back with a load i now take out 200 ltr and still get a good finish on first cleans and regulars
