Dear Customer
Due to the recent E.U. ruling, regarding Health & Safety working at height with ladders, it is harder for us to justify using them for window cleaning when new methods are now available. We are now using a pure water pole wash system. We have been using it now for quite a while on other properties with success and will be using this system for all upstairs windows.
Because the water in pole fed systems is left to dry on its own, it needs to be very pure so no spots or smears are left. To ensure this level of purity is achieved a number of water-treatment processes are used. The water we use in our pole system is manufactured using a multi stage system and utilises the latest reverse osmosis process finished off with a de-ionisation filter giving water that is over 99.999% pure.
A typical water reading of tap water in this area is around 300-350 parts per million of dissolved solids. These dissolved solids are the cause of spots left on your windows when using tap water. The water we use is tested every day and our filters are changed when the reading becomes higher than 4 parts per million. Looked at it another way the cleanest tap water is 75 times more impure than our most impure pole wash water
There are many advantages to using this system: -
The Pure Water Pole System cleans more efficiently than conventional methods.
Your windows dry cleaner if it rains shortly after we have cleaned them.
Cleans Windows, Atria, Panelling, Canopies and Facia to a spot free Finish.
Operators work from the Safety of the Ground.
Eliminates the need for Ladders and High access equipment.
Reaches previously inaccessible windows, conservatory roofs etc.
Environmentally friendly, no detergents or chemicals are used.
Easily reaches windows over lawns and flower beds. No more standing on your garden to clean windows
No detergent residue means that windows stay cleaner for longer.
Cleans frames at same time as glass.
Reduces disturbance and maintains privacy.
A problem we have found when cleaning windows for the first time after a trade clean (washer and squeegee) is that the pure water leaches dirt out from under seals, thus drying with slight spotting.
Whilst this is not normal it is not unusual, and is generally gone by the second or third clean, so please try and be patient if this does occur, as the problem will rectify after the second clean.
You will also notice that the window will remain wet for a period of time with some water droplets. These droplets will dry clear due to the pure water technology process that we have in operation.
The use of the system is to prioritise the health and safety of individuals involved in the window cleaning business as the industry is now considered to be one of the most responsible for injuries and deaths from the use of a ladder.
Thank you for your understanding, and hope that we may continue to provide you with our reliable service on the basis that this system is being introduced with our safety in mind.
If you have any queries about this type of window cleaning please feel free to give us a ring.
Thank You xxxxxxxxxxxxx
Please note:
We have been advised by some of our new customers that results from previous window cleaners using this method have left smears and runs and have been apprehensive about its use. This unfortunately is down to the operator of the system and neglect in the filtration method and not the system itself. Used correctly this method of window cleaning will give clean and smear free results.
Those customers are now happy with the results we achieve, and we welcome any feedback. So please advise us of any points, good or bad you may have about our service and the system in use.
We are happy to refer you to ANY of our present customers in order to maintain our reputation.
