Hello all. I'm new to this site, and joined up after deciding that I wanted to be a window cleaner. I've had a few weeks working with a mate of mine, so am pretty clued up in what to do. I've sourced all my equipment and got an idea of where I want to be doing my rounds.

I know I need to go canvassing, but I get the impression that I need to do a leaflet drop first. Which is where the problem starts. I can't come up with a name to put on my leaflet. I don't know what to put on my leaflet. I've scoured the internet for ideas but can't really find anything. I can't find any flyers knocking about locally to get an idea. I need help!! 

Initially I plan on using traditional methods, and cleaning ups and downs, patio doors, conservatory window, gutters etc.

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!

Why not just use your own name - ie.  Joe Bloggs Window Cleaning.   Simple and to the point.

As my user name sugests I just use my surname on my flyers.  There was athread on hear the other day with a very good example of a flyer. Just do a bit searching on a few of the back posts.

I myself am new to the game and am also leafleting and canvesing, so good luck. (unless your anywhere near me)

Speak to steve-cm, hes a window cleaner who is now doing design and print for leaflets, he in the game so will no what does and doesnt work, he got a website but dont want to put it up without his say so.

Why do you need to do a leaflet drop first

Why walk the same route twice

Take some leaflets with you when you canvass just for the people who are rude enough to be out when you knock. That way you should at least go home with some new work every time you go out

How about looking through some directories e.g. Yellow pages for inspiration.  Sometimes linking two words together can create a good individual name.

Luke Clearly Thru Window Cleaning
Luke Spotless
Luke Gleaming Glass
