Different backpack
« on: October 30, 2009, 01:38:04 pm »
You may or may not have read me mention I was a car detailer before, anyway, while browsing a car detailing forum I spotted a link to these new backpacks.  Marketed as mobile pressure washers, but backpack style machines is what they are.

Adjustable power from 45.5 to 130.5 PSI
Auto shut of pump, starts upon trigger opening.
17 Ltr.

Any views on whether they'd be good for WFP cleaning ?

Airport wheels are a hindrance though. Not long before they get stuck, i don't think. How much is wcw backpack? Is it £100?
Could it be hooked up to a van mount as well?

I have the wcw one but would have considered this one ! the wheels and shoulder strap look a neat idea, I threw away my rucksack straps that came with mine straight away I just carry it by the handle. The only improvement I can think of is if it had an extendable handle to pull it along by, crouching over to pull it along by the wheels could become a pain over time. Also like the net pouch to keep the hose in.

Might get one of these for doing upper balconies where I access them from inside the house.  at the moment I tend to do these trad but would prefer to stay total WFP and wash balcony frames as i do on the rest of the house .  Just fit a suitable hand brush on and away you go!  Just shake off the drips before you go back through the house!
