Hey,
I have been asked by a friend which is the best trolley around at the moment as he is looking to buy one to take care of a small amount of commercial contracts he is responsible for, mainly just ground floor apartments but may require more later on.
I am totally "out of the loop" when it comes to trolleys as I have not used one for about 6 years.

So my question is....
What trolley do you recommend? And are there any good complete packages on the market to save time shopping around for RO, poles and such?

I have recently taken delivery of the omnipole tsr35. Used it all week, seems a good system. Benefit for me is the 35 litre capacity, I have gone from a WCW backpack that held 18 litres. Seem to be using less water too, it has 3 flow settings, lowest flow is easily adequate.

Apart from a couple of little niggles (handle to pull/push not long enough & delivery hose kept popping off which was fixed with a couple of turns on the jubilee clip) I have found it to be a good trolley at an excellent price. £240 delivered including VAT.

So got this and its a lot more robust



Im fitting a reel to the back of it soon. Fantastic thing. Bit of a pain with button underneath but im going to get it to sit on something so i have easy access to it.

Oh and to add to that, cheapest by far, £200 odd for backpack and £20 odd for trolley. Bargain

purefreedom trolley is by far the best built trolley on the market it will outlast any other had mine for 18 months now can see it lasting years very robust more expensive but it will stand the test of time in my opinion 35ltrs is to heavy

Have you owned any other then? if not how do you know it will out last the rest?

I've hammered the mark1 freedom trolley for most of the last 3 1/2 years.
I Think the freedom one is the benchmark for non-diy 25 litre trolleys. 
Trolleys have improved loads since andy mccann 1st hit the site about the freedom.
There are others as good nowadays i believe, but they set the standard.

i like the 35ltr trolley, but they are not as easy to use as the pure freedom.

for example, the 35ltr tank is fixed on the tsr, so.....

A. have to carry 25ltr tubs.

I meant other purpose made trolley's not them crop sprayers that companies pass off as their own water fed pole trolley's.

Some of them probably think they own the generic title TROLLEY for their crop sprayers.

well craig i have'nt used any other trolley wfp trolley but take the a look at all the other trollleys out there the ones i looked at are either crop sprayers or sack trolleys converted.   Purefreedom have got it spot on compact durable folding handle  25ltr containers which are not fixed to trolley how on earth are you supposed to lift a 35 ltr trolley in and out of car/van  possibly weighing 50kg when full that is a serious amount of weight , Good to hear you have had pf trollley for so long point proved i guess purefreedom will  stand the test of time

35 litres - far too heavy
18 litres- you will waste far too much time refilling

My x-line trolley is a reliable piece of equiptment, would definatley recommend the company as well for friendly advice.

If your dismissing the backpack as a "crop sprayer" then you need to try one before you do. 4 settings, pumps easily through 100m microbore and ive used mine at 50ft +

£200 what a bargain. What more could you want.

must admit the freedom trolly is spot on-i have both freedom and the tsr35 trolly-paid a fortune for the tsr first time out dropped it somehow managed to break the elbow at the bottom of the tank-fixed this its now in my garage gattering dust-to heavy handle height too low, hard to fill,heavy to lift in and out of the van-give it a miss,given a choice i'd go for the freedom every time,andy got it right first time and although more expensive it will outlast the tsr -don't get me wrong the freedom trolly is not perfect but its far beter than the tsr

hi glyn many thanks for reply but went to nearest plumb centre and they sorted/cobbled some fittings to suit.glyn what type of fittings are these?ie bsp/whitworth or metric?

25 L barrel ( which does hold near 30 L when full )

thats it really

tank in van with sub pump to fill barrel , i now have 2 sub pumps running together, 26 L per min , so takes 1 min to fill my barrel

a sack truck is built for moving weight around with ease, talk of crop sprayers from china, talk of the freedom trolley ( which is a purpose built trolley based on a sack truck. lets me honest about it )

a few hours to build it, job done
