I have a perfect set of twelve rung doubles but they can be a bit on the short side for guttering work. Instead of buying a complete new set of triples - do manufacturers ever sell the third bit on it's own to convert doubles to triples or is that a stupid question?

I was thinking of using a step ladder so I could push the top section higher.
