Ladders question
« on: October 29, 2009, 04:59:53 pm »
I have a perfect set of twelve rung doubles but they can be a bit on the short side for guttering work. Instead of buying a complete new set of triples - do manufacturers ever sell the third bit on it's own to convert doubles to triples or is that a stupid question?

no you wont be able to do that there is a bracket which the 3rd ladder hooks onto which is missing from a double but is there on a triple,

only way around it is to buy a set of triples and only use the 2 normally and add the 3rd for guttering

You can put the top section on the third rung down of the bottom section. You do know that eh? There is a technique to do it (without step ladders)

only doing that because they need to sell as many as they can before they are banned, and sell them to cheap skates  that dont like magic water ;D

you can use garden chairs, saves on weight in the van as I still think 1000l tank in a fiesta with blacked out windows is a tad to much

Ladders will make a big comeback in a few years time, when the first wave of wfp guys are on the full time sick with there sore shoulders, arms, wrists and whatever else ails them, ladders will be all the rage with wfp just used to clean 2nd floor and higher like it was designed to do  ;D ;D
