Anyway Im out, they let me out, Im at home now, safe and sound.

She turned up just as I posted that last thread.

A rather limited apology actually, emabarrased but it seems one of her neighbours rang her, but she said that she had a few things to do in town and did I understand?


Asked if perhaps I had taken the time to have my lunch and that she'd see me just before christmas.


Maybe she will, but theres gonna be a conversation with her before that time about cost.  She wasted an 1 hour and 45 minutes work time today, even after knowing I was sat there waiting, and no offer of recompense.

Unfortunately it was one of those gates you open with an electrical fob, so no code or keypad.

It is a well paid job, in my top 10% of hourly rate, the sort of money where you really really hope they aren't in when you do them, or arent still there when youve finished; but the woman is ditzy, she always has been and I think she always will be.

I couldnt bring myself to be nice though when she finally turned up, Im the sort who dont tolerate fools gladly, even if I have made some almighty cock-ups in my life anyway.
