Just wondered anyones take on what the best brand of resin to buy is??

I would say dowex, but have not used tulsion, am told they are on par with each other, DA is cheap for resin and this is tulsion, I really should order a bag
I use www.wintecs.co.uk at the moment

Dowex or tulsion.

I use dowex, 25ltr bag, but have been told that it goes off after a while.

Depends where you are in the country, different resins work better depending on water quality. Try a few out and measure the results, dont listen to anyones 'opinion' find out for yourself.

thanks for that daqua link, i'm gonna try tulsion next.

the unnamed stuff i've been getting from gardiners recently doesn't seem to last 5 minutes! it's all the same light colour and comes in a plain grey plastic bag??

I'm on the Tulsion and very impressed. Smells a bit odd though.
