I have cut my old mk1 pole down and it is a fantastic pole with the new clamps....it's 3ft7 and reaches 1st floor windows....it's a good use for an old worn pole.

Cheers
Dave.

Yes there were.
It did have the metal clamps that were forever being a justed with an Allen key.
They soon could not be a justed any longer and had to go back for a clamp upgrade, the first of two clamp upgrades.
This pole is in full working order but is only used twice a week now as I use an xtel for most and then a modular for anything els.
I will not miss the black hands for a moment though.
