Depends what RO you are using, water pressure, Tap reading on TDS, are prefilters changed regular. etc etc

there is no set number after RO.

Hi Craig lol
how can someone say that if your RO output is 2ppm or more then the membranes knackered.

If you read technical information an ro should remove about 95% of impurities, this will be higher with good water pressure and lower with low water pressure.

My ro-man unit removes a good 98%. Brings tds from 200 to 004 with 50-55psi mains water pressure.

My TDS is around 90ppm before RO and its coming out after RO before the DI at 1ppm i was told if it starts to rise above 2ppm (going by the TDS im currently putting in from tap) that it was on its way out.

Im not in a very hard water area so dont know what the RO is reading at when its been through.

Im going on what i was told from my supplier on our water area lads.  Anyhow i think the RO in question could be bucked, but we need to see whats coming from his tap first to have any way of working that out.
