x-tel hybrid review
« on: October 25, 2009, 11:55:01 am »
thought i would start a review off , had the 24ft pole nearly a year it has took some abuse over the months and is still going strong although the sections look worn but that is to be expected ,   Changed clamp bands on top 3 sections along with clamp levers once ,  The collar worked loose the other day eaisly glued back  on no probs since ,   I  see it lasting another 4-5 months possibly a great all round pole i ahve mine fitted with the streamline  lite-5 pole hose far better than the clear hose also have a gardiners gooseneck and superlite brush which probably helps with wear and tear on pole as less weight than standard brushes  and i paid £220.00 for it last year bargain all things considered

yep, I got a 35 ft, with a fiberglass 5 ft extension I put on when needed to make a 40 ft.
A year old and no worries so far and a good price. Got the streamline hose too, minimal maintenance, hardly any tinkering with the clamps, no real worries as far as grit, sections sticking, or excessive wear etc. sound familiar ?  ;D
not the lightest or most rigid, but as far as price and reliabilty goes I would probably buy another when I have to.
