Got a call during the week from a lay asking me to give her a quote for w/c. Arrange to meet this morning. She quotes she lives at No. 36.

Go to the street, only 25 houses ......call the lady on her mobile number......she says 'Oh don't worry, I've changed my mind'

I got a call from a lady a few weeks ago to go and do a quote for which I now clean on a monthly basis,  thing was when I cleaned the windows and she was paying me she also told me that she called another window cleaner and he sounded like he was in the pub and sounded drunk so she said she just told him she would call someone else and put the phone down.

 so ona whole we are not just judged by our appearance but also our telephone manner,   I'm not saying you have a bad telephone manner just saying that some people either like the sound of you or not

I have a deep scouse accent and living in the south east gets quite a few comments on the phone,  thankfully most of them good 

but you always get the one who comes out with    what part of Newcastle are you from

I'm further more down the A421 towards Bedford, than MK about 8 miles between the pair. Why? Do you have any work you want to sub out to a newbie ?

Call her back in a few weeks. Ask her to confirm her details, name, address etc.Tel her you are from the post office and you have tried delivery a parcel and couldn't find the address. Could you please come and collect. Say it was the company who sent it that gave us your number. Tel her when she comes in to quote reference no G07CH4.
