could someone recommend product for showroom finish
« on: October 21, 2009, 04:53:00 pm »

Hi all,

Could someone recommend a product for getting that showroom shine on your car...

I have spent about £60 on various products in halfords and every one is useless...

So any advise would be great thanks.

I used to be a detailer, have a look at this site - www.cleanyourcar.co.uk.   Loads of useful stuff, and click to the chat forum where you can ask us as many questions as you want.

Ta, I did correction work for 10 years or so, I was one of the first detailers, before the 100 or so now advertising that have started up and lowered prices and standards in the last few years.  Unfortunately by work was aimed high, so when the economy dived it hit me big time, and this along with the other problems I just mentioned made me decide to call it a day.  I'll be getting back to it one day, with a car sales/detailing/car care centre, that's the plan anyway...

I also do paintless dent repair, which I still do for friends/family and any trade cars I move on.

That pic of the bonnet is before any finishing products, just bare machine burnished/corrected paint.
I use Menzerna and Sonus for most correction work.  I'm very active on the cleanyourcar forum.   Their shop is also highly recommended.
