ro-man booster pump help please
« on: October 08, 2009, 09:52:00 pm »
The booster pump to my ro has now started to chug along and then stop pumping, though it's humming with electric.
I get it starting again by tapping it with a hammer.

Does anyone have a suggestion on what is causing it to get stuck?

I am reluctant to start undoing screws etc to just have a peek, incase i can't put it back properly.
This only happens when i'm starting production. It runs ok after a few minutes of tapping here and there.

It might be the pressure switch.
