I work in rain to a point and don't mind getting wet. 

Rainy days are the best for new cleans - all that free rinse water 

However, I wear glasses and if it's too hard I can't see what I'm doing - maybe contact lens or laser treatment is the answer.

How do any of you other 4-eyes manage in the rain?

I don't usually work in the rain, but when I do I wear a baseball cap to shield my specs from the worst. It helps, but it isn't a solution.

Haven't wasted the day though.  Spent the morning in the garage servicing all the gear.  Also got a new customer who was just passing and saw the magnetic signs on the car.

Still time left for it to stop raining and perhaps get a couple of local jobs done.

July this year, 4wks off and no problems, only thing i had to see the doctor so i could drive again ,ie insurance wont cover you if you go back too early.

Looked like it was gonna lash it down this morn but turned out ok

Rain here in Brighton almost continuously from about 7am to 3pm. There's no point even trying if like me you're trad.

Drizzly here today but i managed to do enough work to buy a new van, an Ionics system, a new fifty foot carbon pole from Gardiners and I picked up fifty new customers. Nothing wrong with cleaning in the rain. Just a case of training your customers.

in Hampshire, very heavy rain this morning, worked through it.
Got so wet I had to buy a t shirt to be able to carry on as my original was soaking wet even through a kagoule.
Always work in the rain, they get used to it and as they say 'time is money'
