Water Transfer
« on: October 03, 2009, 08:04:31 pm »
This is a follow on from my shed topic really.I'm about to move and re set up my ibc etc. Therefore i would like to try and iron out any little wrinkles.Mainly i'm looking for either a better method or better euipment.

The problems i have found.
1. Transfer hose from ibc to van(the clear large bore one).
A, It gets bad kinks very easily
B. It freezes in winter because i leave it lying on the ground.
So is there anything better, and is there a way of rolling it up when not in use?

2.Using yellow garden hose to feed the 4040 from tap on the wall.
A. this looks untidy
B This also kinks.

3. Ive never used a booster pump with the 4040 and it goes in at 270tds and out at 2 tds before the resin polish. Should i use a pump, and which one?
