Got up this morning to find an email.

Its a lady requesting a quote to have her windows cleaned. She found my advert on google.

Normal.... Yes

Sent it at 3.40 am !

Might be a shift worker (like Ewan), or a nurse or whatever it is, that women do at night time. :)

It'll be sash windows with flaking paint that are falling out for lack of putty, then a 150 yard trek through the overgrown alleyway with 2 old freezers and a dumped tumble dryer to clamber over. ;D ;D

that is the only worry i have about having the van sign written, the 3am call as someone wanders back from a party and thinks it would be funny to give me a call

Had a call at 12:30 am requesting the use of my ladder at the going rate so they can climb back into their flat after a night out..LOL

Ladder was in storage so declined.. lucky i was up, awake and next to the phone.. i wouldn;t have been too happy being woken up with that call.

I had the police knock on my front door the other night, around 11pm.

The wife and I were in bed and I heard one of them ask my son if it was his van. He told them it was his dad's and then they asked to borrow one of the ladders to get into a house up the street. Wierd eh!!

I felt all community spirited ;D

Good job the van's taxed and MOT'd too ;)
