I run the window cleaning (new to it)  along side my building maintenance/handyman business, the attraction of the window cleaning is a business with a regular reliable income to a degree, with the handyman/building type business you never know where your next wage is coming from, or if it's even coming at all.  I'm moving more towards window cleaning now and will close the handyman business in the coming months.

We do carpets and upholstery and are concentrating more on just upholstery as there seems to be a very big potential for it over here. Most of the competition here seem to only be interested in maintainance carpet cleaning.

Have now split the business for Vat reasons.
when i was 16 [shut it] i worked for a company called globe carpet and upholstrey cleaning, we used to take up carpets and remove them to the factory for a proper cleaning, same with suites and bring them back like new you dont see that these days do you?

Only one firm here that does that, suites are collected and brought back after the clean. Only firm I know of anyway. The geezer who owns that biz is about 70 or more lol.
