Tree Sap

doing a house today that has i think fir trees the ones that leaves loads of pine needles on the ground its theres quite a lot of trees round this house and on the front there was wat i think is tree sap on the windows. i used my trad gear last time with the scraper etc but didnt have it today so just wfp it n left the sap as didnt have time, bad i know!! any other ideas for getting it off except with a scraper

green in colour ive underpriced the house any way its a small mansion with vents above each window so the windows still looked gleaming after id finished just the odd bit of tree sap
