Grey undercoat (DULUX)

Then white Gloss, will bring it up perfect & is the Cheapest option.

Just make sure its not looking like rain before you carry the work out

wd4o is    a fine oil/petrol based mix    .   trouble is after only a few hours it dries to nothing  so the shine goes

i use CIF  cleaner , this takes elbow grease ,but you do get the original shine on the plastic .  i put the cif onto the coarsest wet towel i can find .THen buff off with dry scrim.

If you want to remove limescale marks on gutters and other plastics, use Life Guard industrial limescale remover and an abrasive washing up scourer. Leave it on for a minute then scrub off, best thing ive found and charge accordingly as you are using dangerous chemicals!!! ;)

WD40 is good on coloured plastics, I have never had any guttering dry after applying it.
Like someone else said on here it is oil based. I only use it to "finish off" the job, I use Syroflex to clean the plastics.
Cif is too abrassive on plastics, it might look clean after you use it, but deep down you are actually causing faint scratches on the plastic. this will in turn hold on to future dirt and makes the next clean a nightmare.

Hi Trip heres a link for the syroflex mate, I only use a sponge with this, then spray the sponge with water when it starts drying out as the water reactivates the solvent cleaner.

It can deal with those to a certain degree, but like most cleaners they have their limit.
Once plastic is so badly weathered no matter what you do it won't make it look new.
I have a disclaimer on my website about my patio, driveways and plastic cleans, it states.
Although we will do our best to remove stubborn stains,
some stains and weathering may still remain.
We only clean driveways and patios we do not restore them.
