Has not been cleaned for 6 months and all the vertical glass has a glass overhang and it is spider city...I jest you not the amount of spider webs was amazing.

Just the vertical....but not the vertical above or the side of the tower.

Sorry the pics are not the best...

I would price it at 495 pounds. First time. After that, subsequent cleanings 100 lbs less if done quarterly or ea. 6 months.

Cheers,

Didn't know you could work on Sundays over there Dave. I thought the Dutch are just as stupid as ze Guurmans. You have to apply for a licence for any work being done on Sundays here. They wouldn't issue one for WCing, unless it was a hospital or something like that.

If you got that done in one day, well done mate, must have been grotty though :)

Cozy how long do you reckon doing trad...? most shops and the like are shut Sundays but working on things like this is perfectly fine.

I prefer to do jobs like this on Sundays as I do not have to put up with idiot people walking under the pole, messing with the hose and generally being thick.

Cheers
Dave.

Depends mate, from those pics, if you only have to go over them once (Which I doubt) then, a good 8 hours. Hard to tell really, as I hate to make a guess on pics lol ;D

To tell the truth mate, I've had enough of those jobs. If I get any like it, I sub out the stuff to a good mate of mine.
We always work in two's and I think that it was bad with all the spiders etc.Would still need 5 hours with two of us.Whats the score with the insides?

Like you said, easier on a Sunday, but it's a legal point here in Boxhead land.It would mean filling out 40.000 forms in triplcate, two weeks in advance, before I could do it on a Sunday.

Each piece of glass had to have all the cobwebs removed then cleaned twice...so in effect each piece of glass needed to be cleaned 3 times...ok it's all green mirrored glass/slightly transparent.

Cheers for the response Cozy...
