Nice van Clinton, I'll save you a Phoenix for it before they all sell out!
And for good measure I'll through in a hose reel.

Dave :)

Cheers :)

I nicked your ideas to store gear on the rear van doors :)Very handy and gave me so much more space...

Its a nice size for me as i can also use the van if i ever want an upgrade.

Why do some truckmounters not have a hose reel is it because of space one of the main reasons iam going to get a Prowler is iam fed up with hose bags and coiling up vac and solution hoses is it not easier to have them on a reel.

I reckon it's quicker without a reel if it's short distances and you have things sorted. If you carry a lot of hose and that's used frequently a reel is a necessity.

Not used a hose reel at all, but quiet happy coiling up.
Do the solution hose when its still hot and that makes life easier.
and if you buy very flexible suction hose, life becomes easier as well. But my supplier for that is the place a lot of you dont want to know about, so you loose out.
Mike O has 50' of the flexible suction hose and I reckon he finds a difference.

Hi Joe

Yes I use your old solutions stuff indoors, but with a whip as well. I have two different types of HM hose, one is horribly stiff and the other inbetween.

Coiled on bungies it's off the deck too and all comes out if I need to lug a sofa or something.

Solution hose as in pressure hose is coiled then is hung on a bicyle rack with foam tubes on the arms.

Tony

You need to lay them out before you start coiling, then it's easy.

When you pick up a coil you just unravel it where you need it.

What other way is there is it not comon sense to lay them flat out first before you coil them in with a hose reel you wouldnt have to coil them would you and would this not save time.

Save time or not, Darren, I dont know cause not used a reel.

What I do get by hanging the hoses from the roof is floor space.
You might think you have a nice big van - then you start to fill it then you have stuff to carry, not all the time but some of the time, like the porty, of a rotary, and the envirodri etc etc
