Where to canvas
« on: September 14, 2009, 10:07:25 pm »
Hi, I am a newbie to wc and about to start my first leaflet drop. My surrounding area has council estates, private houses1930 semis, private estates, terraced to detached. Can anone give advice what would be best targeted ? Many thanks.

As well as targetting the places you mentioned (whiich is where every new window cleaner targets 1st), spread your wings and canvass out of town.
Town prices can be disheartening when starting up. There's always someone telling you they've never paid more than 2 shillings. Better money in the countryside.
Also advertise in village shops and parish magazines if you can find out where it is.

Best bet is to canvass anywhere that looks like they can pay you.
