So if I started up it would be towards the end of the year.

Last time i remember having alot of trouble with my Pipes freezing up. Is there a insulation available to stop pipes and water freezing?

Even if you manage to keep your pipes unfrozen by using inulation etc you will find that on really cold days, the water in the hoses going to the pole or the jets in the actual brush will freeze up.    There is also the extra hazard of water freezing on pavements driveways etc.

The only probable solution would be to use IPA(Isopopryl Alcohol), this as a freezing point of around 89degrees, not sure wether this is fahrenheit or celsius.

But when mixed with water about a coke can full with 250ltrs approx, it should help.

It won't stop water from freezing, but will increase the time it takes for water to freeze.

Also IPA does not affect the TDS of pure water.
