Hi Guys
            Would anyone know of a program, that would help keep track of a customer base date windows cleaned, date paid, and who hasn`t paid or somethink that will help with the day to day running of the round like print out a daily work list.  Any advice would be helpfull  THANKS

well that's one...we use a customised version of MS Excell....but not available on the open market I'm afraid....

Theres one being sold on ebay. only £11. I dont know if this is any good but it was made by an ex-programer for w/c.
I havent got the link but go to ebay and search under window cleaning and you cant miss it.

I use Microsoft data base,
It stores
 dates of last three cleanes,
Date of last payment
amount per clean
Yearly value of customer
Date of last price increase
Amount of last price increase
Notes relating to customer
Street ref code (so that the round can be organised at a stroke.
Week next clean due
period between cleans

As I designed the data base I can alter it at will.

But it works by sorting round into order,
Producing a daily work sheet.
    At the end of the day information from work sheet is put into PAID or used to produce a collecting/Money's out list and added to other outstanding accounts.

When money recieved from outstanding account moved to PAID and used to produce take sheet for accounts.

It sounds complicated but it means that I produce
Work sheets
Money's out sheet
accounts paid sheets
every day in about 10 minutes

Which means I can see at a glance how much is out there owing to me.
and how much work I have for the week - It also helps in producing cash flows

Thats the one I mentioned but couldnt get the link. I'd seen it and it seemed quite good.
Thing is I think that for me it would cause a lot more work than pen and paper.
Does it keep good daily, yearly accounts?

hi steve, yes it does but i don't bother with that part of the system as i do my accounts separatly

I just bought the one from ebay, I am very impressed for the sake of £15.00 i thought I would give it ago...Glad I did, I have also spoken to the guy about it since installing it and he was very helpful....You can also store more than 1 copy of the programme on the p.c
