Unger Swivel Loc Squeegee
« on: September 06, 2009, 08:54:01 pm »
Unger Swivel Loc Squeegee. Just got one of these but it does not come with the normal Unger quick release fitting how do you clamp the rubber in the channel. I am using a brass end clip at present is the the correct method. Cheers all.

Doesn't it have the s channel? The sprung loaded clip should have two prongs that bite into the rubber blade and hold everything in place.

FTP, yes it has the S channel but it does not have the sprung loaded  type body it only clamps the channel by tightening two nuts with a small spanner but there is nothing to grip the rubber hence I am using a brass end clip to do the job.

Same here. Using brass end clips.

This is the 0 deg, isn't it? The 30 deg has the regular S channel grips.

I think Marks one is the 30 degree lock model as that one has a quick release my flat angle is not.

I have sprung loaded 0 and 30 degree swivelocs. I think older versions had the fixed clip.

If you have an old unger squeegee with the spring clip, it will fit the swiveloc.

i have the unger swivel lock 30degree squeegy.i use it as my main squeegy and can just pop it on my pole when needed and swivel ;D.its quick release with 2 claws that grab the rubber.never used brass end clips ever in 15 yrs.
price higher/work harder!
