HELP!!! looking into window cleaning but....
« on: September 04, 2009, 11:52:31 am »
I have a fear of heights and cant really afford a wfp trolley system as yet. Is there any way of getting around this.

Do the back pack systems  allow access to windows at the same height as those done by trolley or van mounted systems?

If so can anyone recommend a supplier?

Hello Wallygreens,

If you have a fear of heights the best thing would be to start off cleaning bungalows.

While you are doing that, ask a window cleaner near you if he would let you tag along for a while, that way you could practice going up ladders, while someone is footing them.

After a while you will get used to it, as I had the same problem.  Now I go up ladders all the time.

Hope this helps at all.

Kind regards. :)

I never used to have a problem with high work until one day a walk way collapsed under me and I fell 15ft. I then got a really bad fear of leave the ground but pushed myself back up ladders to first floor and after that I've done a couple of second floor jobs. I really don't like going any higher than first floor.
