I get fed up screwing/unscrewing my plastic angle neck all day.

What we need is a new, stronger, longer adjustable neck with quick release lever- like a pole clamp!!!

I think it would be the ultimate neck, bit more reach (could even be telescopic), stronger to aid rigidity & justify the higher price, quicker & easier to adjust. Hey, it could even incorporate a swivel!!!

How about it? Anyone agree?

I dont find that problem myself, but would like a long bristled water fed brush specially designed for cleaning fascia boards, guttering and something i can get into the crannys with. Longer bristles about 2 inches would be good

I was thinking that something along the lines of a pole-clamp style adjuster would be helpful the other day. I do like to have the brush at a reasonable working angle and this needs adjustment from upstairs to downstairs in particular, it can be a bit tedious over the day, something a lot simpler and quicker would be welcomed.

Hi Jouk45
Looks good, but this coupling would allow the brush to turn, which I find unacceptable. I will turn the brush on it's side to scrape birds much off the window and rotate the brush a bit to get into the corners if working from the side, ie. window above conservatory. I also sometimes use half the brush to clean the upper window sill from an angle, so I need the brush head to be fixed.
Still think that Unger's quick release system is great, although the angle adaptor is too heavy with alloy adjuster and too flimsy with plastic adaptor.
I still carry my Unger pole on the van and use it for some jobs - have 3 different brushes I use, depending on application. For example, I have a Solmon brush with a Mark2 swivel, and two Vikan ovals, 1 with 2mm jets and another with 3mm jets. I have a 35' SLX but the day to day pole is my fishing pole conversion with single trim Gardner brush - purely because of weight.

What we need is more of a "one size fits all" neck. A neck that will suite virtually all day to day work & more, that is strong, light & quick/easy to adjust!

I knocked this one up in the shed last week, not the complete solution but a step in the right direction.
This is a rough as a bears backside prototype.

These jets on stalks are working very well, I seem to get less spotting.
The angle of the brush is altered by slacking off and tightning the wing nuts.
That swivel is my old friend  the converted Stanley paint pad, What a superb swivel that is, I have dropped that poll loads of times and failed to break one yet, plus you can lock the swivel if you don't need it.
